Resumen

El propósito de este documento es conocer las implicaciones sobre la responsabilidad social que tienen las Instituciones de Educación Superior en el fomento a la adquisición de software sin licencia. Diseño/metodología/enfoque: Se realizó una encuesta a 492 estudiantes de una de las Universidades Privadas más importantes de la Ciudad de Monterrey donde el 90% de la muestra dijo que sí han comprado software sin licencia. La muestra estaba compuesta por un total de 239 alumnos de sexo femenino y 253 de sexo masculino. Se exploraron las variables ética, colectivismo, precio, hedonismo, distribución, necesidad de uso y restricciones de uso.
