Análisis de las competencias digitales docentes en la educación superior en una universidad del Caribe colombiano

Abstract

Actualmente el escenario tecnológico estáa en constante evolución que desafía la competencia digital de los profesores universitarios. El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo analizar los principales factores que inciden en el desarrollo de las competencias digitales docente en el contexto de una universidad pública. Se utilizó una metodología desde el enfoque cuantitativo, con un análisis descriptivo-correlacional para estudiar las competencias digitales en el contexto del aprendizaje. Para esto nos basamos en el Marco Europeo para la Competencia Digital de los Educadores (DigCompEdu) con el fin de identificar algunas interrelaciones significativas a través de pruebas de independencia Chi cuadrado. Se concluye que los docentes de mayor nivel formación académica presentan mayor apropiación de herramientas digitales flexibles y aplicación en su labor docente. Mientras que, los profesores “Catedráticos” presentación mayor apropiación de estas herramientas digitales en el proceso de enseñanza.
