La innovación social corporativa y su relación con el desempeño financiero: un modelo conceptual

Abstract

La investigación se realiza para entender cómo la Innovación Social Corporativa (ISC) puede simultáneamente resolver problemas sociales y mejorar el rendimiento empresarial mediante 3 principales premisas la estructura de gobernanza, acciones emprendedoras institucionales y el éxito financiero. Este estudio analiza la literatura sobre estas interacciones y propone un marco conceptual para mejorar la comprensión y aplicación de la innovación social en un entorno empresarial. Al inicio, se exponen cinco teorías que sustentan el fenómeno de Innovación Social Corporativa (ISC), explicando nuevos comportamientos y procesos empresariales para abordar problemas sociales. Se destaca la Responsabilidad Social Corporativa (RSC) como soporte principal de la ISC, con Kanter, Pesquero y Mulgan como impulsores teóricos, así como estudios que miden o analizan su impacto con el desempeño financiero.
